Who publishes Padelbets

Padelbets is published by the Padelbets editorial team. Articles and pages do not have personal bylines. For editorial questions, corrections and other requests, please use the contact page.

You can also find general information about the site on about Padelbets.

Where live data comes from

We read live data from official public event pages on padelfip.com. This includes schedules, court assignments, start times, set scores and match status. The pages also contain an order-of-play and results widget provided by a third-party score provider.

For finished events, when the order of play is empty, we read the same source in its results-by-day view. Nothing is re-entered or overwritten by hand.

padelfip.com is the site of the International Padel Federation, or FIP, the governing body of padel. Our padel today listings and padel scores pages use the event data read from these public pages.

Our coverage is divided as follows:

  • Premier Padel Major, P1, P2 and Finals events, FIP Championship events, Hexagon events and the Olympic padel event have their own tournament pages.
  • FIP Tour Platinum and Gold events are listed on the FIP Tour page and grouped by month.
  • Bronze, Silver, Promises and Beyond events are not shown.

How often it updates

A scheduled check runs every 15 minutes. In practice, the source is checked roughly every 15 minutes during events, subject to the state of each event:

  • Finished events whose finals have been captured are no longer checked.
  • Finished events with a missing final are checked again every 12 hours, for up to 14 days.
  • Events more than 7 days away are not checked yet.
  • Within 7 days of the start, an event is checked once a day.
  • On a tournament day with no match live, an event is checked every 30 minutes.
  • On a tournament day with live matches, an event is checked on every scheduled check.

The site is rebuilt only when the data has changed. A rebuild takes about 1-2 minutes. The score shown on padelbets.eu can therefore lag behind the real score by up to the next check plus the rebuild time. It is not a live broadcast or a live feed for betting.

Times and time zones

The Spanish version shows times in Madrid time. The Italian version shows times in Rome time. The English version shows the local time of the venue. The meaning of "today" follows London time for the English version, Madrid time for the Spanish version and Rome time for the Italian version.

Only the first match scheduled on each court has a real start time. Later matches are shown as "followed by" or "not before". Their displayed times are therefore approximate and depend on when the earlier matches finish.

What we add by hand

For each tournament, we add the city, venue, time zone and a link to the official ticket sale. These details are checked against padelfip.com and the organiser's website.

We do not publish ticket prices, on-sale dates or prize money because these details have no stable source. Broadcast rights are published only when we have a source and a check date. This information appears in the where to watch guides.

How guides are written and checked

Guides are prepared from primary sources first. These include FIP rules, official tournament pages, broadcasters' own pages and operators' own pages.

The text is then edited and fact-checked against those sources before publication. The "Last updated" date shown on each page is calculated automatically from changes to that page's content. It is not based on site rebuilds.

Betting content and independence

The site earns affiliate commission. Affiliate links carry rel="sponsored nofollow noopener". More information is available in the affiliate disclosure.

We do not publish odds or betting tips. The Italian version has no comparison of operators.
